Soccer Game Preview: Pahokee vs. Moore Haven

Pahokee is 0-8 against Moore Haven since January of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Terriers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Pahokee took a loss when they played away from home back in November, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Boynton Beach an 8-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moore Haven). Everything went their way against Glades Central on Wednesday as they made off with a 5-1 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Moore Haven with their most commanding win of the season.

Moore Haven is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Pahokee, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Pahokee might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Moore Haven in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
