Des Moines has gone 9-1 against Wagon Mound recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Demons are taking a road trip to challenge the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Des Moines has eight straight wins, Wagon Mound has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Des Moines will bounce into Friday's match after beating Springer, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Demons came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

The victory didn't come easy: Springer scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Wagon Mound came up short against Maxwell on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-8.

Des Moines' win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Wagon Mound, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Des Moines took their victory against Wagon Mound in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Demons repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
