Lawrence County came into Friday's match looking for another win against Columbia, but Jakira Brown wouldn't allow it. The Columbia Wildcats came out on top against the Lawrence County Cougars by a score of 62-52 on Friday thanks in part to Brown, who posted 27 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Columbia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Lawrence County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
