Soccer Game Preview: Maine West vs. Regina Dominican

The Maine West Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Regina Dominican Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Maine West's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Maine West lost 6-1 to Niles North on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous seven contest, Regina Dominican brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Woodlands Academy with a sharp 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The matchup marked Regina Dominican's most dominant win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Woodlands Academy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Evie Kroeger led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Maine West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Regina Dominican, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.
