Baseball Recap: Bear Lake Comes Up Short

Bear Lake blew Rogers City out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Rogers City got their revenge. The Lakers fell just short of the Hurons by a score of 3-1. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bear Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rogers City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Bear Lake will take on Pentwater at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Rogers City, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Oscoda at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Owls will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
