Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers lost against Lauderdale County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rogers Pirates fell just short of the Lauderdale County Tigers by a score of 52-49.

Rogers' loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lauderdale County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers and Brooks will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lauderdale County will take on Deshler in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
