Basketball Recap: Doyline Comes Up Short

Doyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 43-8 defeat at the hands of the North DeSoto Griffins. The Panthers lost against the Griffins in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 49-37 score last time.

Doyline's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for North DeSoto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

While Doyline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
