Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Franklin County's Winning Streak

Franklin County lost against Taylor County back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Franklin County Seahawks might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Taylor County Bulldogs an easy 6-1 win. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Seahawks were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Amelia Wolferseder, who's now up to four this season.

Franklin County moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Taylor County, they pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Franklin County will be home for the holidays to greet Marianna at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Taylor County, they will head out to take on Florida State University High School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florida State University High School's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Taylor County's offense will have their work cut out for them.
