Basketball Recap: Oregon-Davis Comes Up Short

Oregon-Davis came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Pioneer Panthers 64-26.

Oregon-Davis dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oregon-Davis will square off against Washington Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Washington Township's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Pioneer, they will face off against Winamac at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
