Brookland win going away against Batesville

The Brookland Bearcats''s four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They strolled past Batesville with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. The win was just what Brookland needed coming off of a 42-3 defeat in their prior contest.
When it comes to explaining why Batesville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaiden Henderson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown. Henderson's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
Brookland's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Batesville, they have fallen quite a ways from their 8-4 record last season and are now at 3-5.
Brookland will head out on the road to face off against Paragould at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Paragould is ranked 113th, while Brookland is ranked 105th). As for Batesville, they will be playing at home against Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southside is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
