Softball Recap: Eastern Hancock Picks Up 14th Straight Win on the Road

Eastern Hancock's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Randolph Southern Rebels get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won seven in a row.

Nieko Engleking made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, Lilli Ringer was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Addisyn Trackwell was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and one RBI.

Eastern Hancock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .742. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
