            Two dominant  signal callers in  Cash Herrera and  Dax Labrum are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Bishop's Knights will venture away from home to  square off against the Santa Fe Christian Eagles  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (Bishop's 13.9, Santa Fe Christian 11.3) so any  points scored will be well earned.
Bishop's is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Army-Navy just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Friday. They fell  28-21 to the Warriors.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe Christian put another one in the bag  last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat La Jolla Country Day by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  42-7. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
Santa Fe Christian's win came from a few key players Bishop's will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Cruz Campbell, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one  score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 65 yards.  Brady Berg was in the mix  too, providing Santa Fe Christian with two touchdowns.
 Santa Fe Christian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 233  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Santa Fe Christian's defense and their 5.5 sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Everett Kerkhoff,  Robbin Anzodru,  and  Sam Carney, who each picked up 1.5  sacks apiece. Santa Fe Christian got some further help from  Kerkhoff: he picked up  1.5  sacks and made six total tackles (3.5 for loss).
 Santa Fe Christian's record now sits at 9-0. As for Bishop's, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
 Bishop's couldn't quite get it done against Santa Fe Christian when the teams last played  back in November of 2024 as they fell  24-17. Can the Knights avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
