Volleyball Recap: Redlands Wins Going Away Against Marlborough

Redlands saw some tournament action on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Marlborough Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Terriers.

Redlands can attribute much of their success to Sofia Farrokhi, who had six digs and two aces. Those six digs gave Farrokhi a new career-high.

Farrokhi wasn't the only good server: Redlands was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Redlands' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Redlands will be playing at home against Paloma Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marlborough, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Santa Fe on the 9th.
