Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Faith Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Heritage Christian.

Faith Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Heritage Christian between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Leading Faith Christian to victory were Caya Stillings and Kelsey Olehy. Stillings had 11 digs and five aces, while Olehy had 15 assists and three digs. That's the most aces Stillings has posted since back in August.

Faith Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Faith Christian and Heritage Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 76th) will meet Tri-County (ranked 203rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Heritage Christian will square off against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (101 vs. 241).
