Basketball Recap: Exeter Takes a Loss

Exeter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Verona Wildcats on the road by a 58-39 margin. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Verona, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Exeter will face off against Bronaugh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Verona, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-43 loss against Spokane on the 8th.
