Cascade Christian came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Lakeview Honkers with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. Given the Challengers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Honkers are ranked 98th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cascade Christian's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points over those games. As for Lakeview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10.
