Harper is a perfect 10-0 against Junction since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Longhorns will challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Harper came up short against San Saba and fell 49-37. The Longhorns have struggled against the Armadillos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Junction had to suffer through a 62-27 loss at the hands of San Saba. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1415th, while the Armadillos are ranked 650th).

Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Harper, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

Everything came up roses for Harper against Junction in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, as the squad secured a 58-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
