Cimarron-Memorial had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Eldorado Sundevils get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 24-4 back in March.
Elaine Hernandez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hernandez was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Jasslyn Ramos was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Mya Valdivia Cano also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Cimarron-Memorial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .897. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Cimarron-Memorial's record now sits at 13-2. As for Eldorado, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
