Ozarks recap Oct. 30, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Waynesville, who took down 162nd ranked Waynesville, 34-6.
Rolla moved up to 134 from 178 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ozarks. The Bulldogs were able to make move up by defeating the Tigers 34-6.
West Plains's dynamic duo of Sam Hall and Jacob Womack proved tough for Webb City to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hall threw for 36 yards and one touchdown and Womack had 36 yards receiving. Kevin Seeley helped West Plains' passing attack out by catching one ball for three yards.
Tanner Jones was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 112 yards as Kickapoo fell to the Cardinals. Anthony Cooper also contributed to the rushing game with 66 yards on the ground.
Parkview's Landan Ruff and Connor Ratcliff have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Ruff has thrown for 1064 yards this season, while Ratcliff has 35 catches for 560 yards. Brock West from Lebanon leads the league in rushing with 1783 yards.
Warren Womack has rushed for 931 yards on 156 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in Ozarks this week will be when the Yellowjackets take on Rolla. As it stands, Lebanon is in second, while the Bulldogs are in ninth.
