Volleyball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain Ridge Sentinels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.

Sara Rathbun paced Farmington's offense, picking up nine kills. Rathbun got some help from Kylee Day and her 13 assists. Day was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Farmington will host Clearfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will head out to face off against American Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
