O'Gorman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Washington, who was ranked 21st at the time (O'Gorman was ranked fourth). The Knights blew past the Warriors 3-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

While O'Gorman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Brandon Valley made easy work of Yankton on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Brandon Valley never let Yankton on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-18, 25-22.

Brandon Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for O'Gorman, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

O'Gorman came up short against Brandon Valley in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
