Basketball Recap: Jefferson County Christian Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Jefferson County Christian hadn't done well against Harvest Baptist Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for the Jefferson County Christian Royals in a 49-31 win over Harvest Baptist Academy. This was payback for the Royals, who suffered a 69-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jefferson County Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mark Jenkins, who went 9 for 19 on his way to 20 points and three steals. Jenkins is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Seth Gum was another key player, putting up seven points along with five assists and five steals.
