Basketball Recap: Brookfield Academy's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Brookfield Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats on Monday, falling 76-56. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blue Knights came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Wildcats are ranked 270th).

Brookfield Academy's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for University School of Milwaukee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookfield Academy will venture away from home to take on Lake Country Lutheran at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
