Baseball Recap: Waupaca Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

After losing to Fox Valley Lutheran the last time they met, Waupaca decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Comets came out on top against the Foxes by a score of 10-6 on Monday.

Waupaca saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Dolski, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Dolski a new career-high. Another was AJ McDonald, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Waupaca has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
