Softball Recap: Miller Has No Trouble Against Pacific

Miller's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Pacific Pirates with a sharp 25-14 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won six in a row.

Miller got a massive performance out of SAVANA SILVA, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. SILVA also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was MIA TORRES, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one triple.

Miller was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .684. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

The victory got Miller back to even at 3-3. As for Pacific, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Miller will venture away from home to challenge San Bernardino at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Pacific, they will take on Indian Springs at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Indian Springs has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
