Volleyball Recap: Johnstown-Monroe's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Johnstown-Monroe lost against New Albany back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Johnnies fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Johnnies' undefeated start to the season.

Johnstown-Monroe started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Having lost for the first time this season, Johnstown-Monroe fell to 2-1. As for New Albany, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Johnstown-Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Westerville North on the 23rd. As for New Albany, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Buckeye Valley on the 23rd.
