Softball Recap: Snohomish Panthers vs. Stanwood Spartans        
        
		
            
 Snohomish entered their tilt with Stanwood with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with  a   7-4  victory over the Stanwood Spartans  on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Snohomish also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
  Abby Edwards made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 16 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Edwards has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Edwards was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Snohomish let  Avery Clark and  Rian Doyle loose on the outfield. Clark  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI, while  Doyle  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Camryn Sage, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 The  win  got Snohomish back to even at 3-3.
 Snohomish didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  7-1  defeat vs. Jackson on the 25th. As for Stanwood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cedarcrest at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
