High Point Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Dudley Panthers on Tuesday, falling 22-2. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The victory made it two in a row for Dudley and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

High Point Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-1 loss against Eastern Guilford on the 11th. As for Dudley, they have also already played their next game, a 19-2 win against Bishop McGuinness on the 6th.
