After a string of three wins, Columbus Grove's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to the Kalida Wildcats. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Columbus Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Kalida, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Columbus Grove will be playing at home against Liberty-Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty-Benton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Columbus Grove surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kalida, they will take on Ayersville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
