Lake Norman waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They blew past the Cox Mill Chargers 83-48. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Lake Norman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Yates out in front who posted 20 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Trent Steinour, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Lake Norman's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.4 points over those games. As for Cox Mill, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Coming up, Lake Norman will take on Hickory Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hickory Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches. Cox Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
