Volleyball Recap: Deming Comes Up Short

Deming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gadsden Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Deming's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gadsden, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Deming has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Chaparral on the 6th. As for Gadsden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Alamogordo on the 6th.
