Basketball Recap: Halls Comes Up Short

Halls lost against Humboldt back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Halls Tigers lost 87-64 to the Humboldt Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Vikings are ranked 95th).

Halls' defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Humboldt, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

Halls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Humboldt, they will take on Middleton on Thursday.
