They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Longhorns earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Tre Castillo put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Castillo was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Granger is 2-1 when Castillo posts two or more runs, but 9-11 otherwise.
In other batting news, Nicholas Blane made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.
Granger now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Harper, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.
