Volleyball Recap: Zaya Lewis Key Part of Team Effort in Wildcats Win

St. Paul won the last time they faced Lutheran-Northeast and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

St. Paul's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zaya Lewis, who had nine digs and two blocks. Lewis is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Keislyn Poss was another key player, getting 11 digs.

St. Paul's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

St. Paul wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Battle Creek on the 27th. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they will take on Neligh-Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
