It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Steinbrenner can now relate to. They were beaten by the Southridge Spartans 51-19 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 71 points in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Steinbrenner moved to 26-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Southridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.
