Basketball Recap: Rossville Comes Up Short

Rossville lost against Clinton Prairie back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rossville Hornets were outmatched by the Clinton Prairie Gophers and fell 72-42. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Rossville lost, don't look at Brody Skinner. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-10 on his way to 15 points. Skinner is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Brayden Thiele-Hahn was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Rossville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Clinton Prairie, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.
