 Monday just wasn't the day for Allegany-Limestone's offense. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunkirk Marauders on Monday. Allegany-Limestone has struggled against Dunkirk recently, as their  game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 For Dunkirk's part,  Zachary Zentz made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Zentz was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 Zentz wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Lemanski, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Dylan Bankoski was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Allegany-Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Dunkirk, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season.
 Allegany-Limestone will be playing in front of their home fans against Fredonia at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Dunkirk, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Frontier at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Frontier is coming into the  matchup with five straight  victories at home,  so Dunkirk will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
