Basketball Recap: Gordon Lee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gordon Lee lost against Ridgeland back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans fell 71-66 to the Panthers.

Ridgeland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamarcus Lewis led the charge by shooting 57% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to eight boards and eight steals. Those eight steals gave Lewis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Micah Carpenter, who went 6-for-13 en route to 15 points and three steals.

Gordon Lee dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ridgeland, their record now sits at 3-1.

Gordon Lee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-60 loss against Northwest Whitfield on the 25th. As for Ridgeland, they will square off against Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
