Recap: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Snohomish Panthers
The Cedarcrest Red Wolves suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They were outmatched by Snohomish on the road and fell 65-29. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cedarcrest in their matchups with Snohomish: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Cedarcrest saw an underclassman step up: Avery Dice scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dice has scored all season.
Cedarcrest has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Snohomish, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedarcrest will take on Lynnwood at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Snohomish, they will head out on the road to challenge King's at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. King's is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
