Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yorktown). Everything went their way against the Carmel Rams on Friday as they made off with a 15-3 victory. The Huskers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Yorktown pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carmel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Yorktown has already played their next game, an 11-6 victory against Lakeland on the 10th. As for Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-2 loss against Walter Panas on the 10th.
