Baseball Recap: Seton Catholic Falls Short of Gilbert Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seton Catholic can now relate to. They fell just short of the Gilbert Christian Knights by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in April.

Seton Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jax Minnis, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

With the defeat, Seton Catholic broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-10. As for Gilbert Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-8.
