Volleyball Recap: Heidelberg Triumphs

Heidelberg's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Quitman Panthers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Oilers: when they faced off against the Panthers back in August, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Heidelberg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Quitman, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heidelberg will take on Bay Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quitman, they will square off against Southeast Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
