Soccer Recap: Henderson County Comes Up Short

The Henderson County Colonels didn't have quite enough to beat the Central Hardin Bruins on Saturday and fell 2-1. One reason for the loss might be Henderson County's aggressive play style: Beckham Womack and Zehn Hazelwood were both handed yellow cards.

Henderson County's goal came courtesy of Alex Bowley, who's now up to four this season.

Henderson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Central Hardin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henderson County will head out to square off against McCracken County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Hardin, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Ohio County at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
