Soccer Game Preview: Rochester vs. Forks

Rochester is a perfect 4-0 against Forks since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Rochester took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Ilwaco get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Forks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 7-4 win.

Rochester pushed their record up to 10-4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six games. As for Forks, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Everything went Rochester's way against Forks in their previous meeting back in March, as Rochester made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
