Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Simley). They were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the Highland Park Scots on Thursday. Considering the Spartans have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Simley pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Highland Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-5.

Simley has already played their next contest, an 8-2 win against Hastings on the 17th. As for Highland Park, they are taking a road trip to challenge Richfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
