Basketball Recap: Atlanta Takes a Loss

Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 48-36 to the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions. The Rabbits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlanta will square off against McLeod at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coram Deo Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. The contest will give Grapevine Faith Christian their first taste of in-conference action this season.
