Perryville won the last time they faced DeSoto and things went their way on Friday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 8-1 win. Considering Perryville have won four contests by more than six goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Perryville and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two matchups. As for DeSoto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perryville will challenge Sikeston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeSoto, they will head out to take on Festus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
