Los Alamitos is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over La Serna. Considering the Griffins have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Santa Margarita had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Giants.

Los Alamitos' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Santa Margarita, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.
