Soccer Recap: Marlboro Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rondout Valley on Wednesday, Marlboro Central came back down to earth. The Dukes lost 12-1 to the Mount Academy Eagles on Monday. While losing is never fun, Marlboro Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Mount Academy are ranked sixth).

Marlboro Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Mount Academy, their record now sits at 8-0.

Looking ahead, Marlboro Central will square off against Saugerties at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Academy, they will host Roosevelt at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
