Cedar is 8-2 against Dixie since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Reds will venture away from home to take on the Flyers at 7:00 p.m. Cedar will be strutting in after a victory while Dixie will be coming in after a defeat.
Cedar took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Pine View as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Reds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kinzie Hawkins, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Annabell Blackner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Cedar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine View only posted a batting average of .263.
Desert Hills hit Dixie with a five-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Flyers came up short against the Thunder, falling 9-1. The Flyers haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Morgan Staheli was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run.
The victory got Cedar back to even at 8-8. As for Dixie, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cedar hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .358. However, it's not like Dixie struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cedar got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Dixie by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Reds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
